Booth @ Stationery Fest My booth set up kind of looks like the inside of my apartment. I wanted it to feel warm, homey, and magical, complete with a little rug exactly the size of my booth size and mini lanterns. I left the center open so that people could watch me draw my pet portraits in real time! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/6f91a581-e7c6-449d-ba99-24b2b5b18cf6/StationeryFest2.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Booth @ Stationery Fest I set up a "Mini Bookstore" where I held my travel sketchbook copies and a small fruit sticker zine. I handbound these myself! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/32613f68-fe4c-4485-be3b-8aeb6f26ca71/StationeryFest3.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Booth @ Stationery Fest I offered a small selection of prints that guests could browse while waiting for their pet portraits. I paint primarily in fountain pen and watercolor, fitting for a stationery festival, so showcased a few of of my favorites. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/c873d790-1e6b-41b9-80ab-dd037fbe1caa/StationeryFest4.PNG Figgsies Past Work - Booth @ Stationery Fest My very kind boothmate, Victoria, took this of me drawing a guest's cute puppy! Each portrait took about 10 minutes, and while some people stayed to watch, most were happy to pick up at the end of the day. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/097eafd0-20e8-4aba-af0d-049a7e09539a/StationeryFest5.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Booth @ Stationery Fest The card that I drew the pet portraits on doubled as a Stationery Fest keepsake. I painted two different stationery themed illustrations and added the name and date of the festival. Each person who signed up for a pet portrait could pick one of two cards for me to draw their pet portrait on - some chose both! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/5a1049f3-a6eb-4dd5-a22b-f72057b59d58/StationeryFest6.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Booth @ Stationery Fest I designed this stamp so that even if guests didn't purchase anything from me, they could still take something home with them. The running bunnies spell out FIGGSIES, and it doubled as my "business card" when guests asked for more information about me! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/e142adc2-6aff-4f2d-9250-4f19e811f820/StationeryFest1.jpg https://figgsies.com/past-work/pet-portraits-stationery-fest monthly 0.5 2026-10-16 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/1792177502515-SO87GZ68KUHGNQIPYIW7/StationeryFest3.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Live Pet Portraits @ Stationery Fest My sign and sample portrait! Luckily my boothmate Victoria, snagged this picture of me mid-portrait! When guests returned, I loved watching them point out their pet from the lineup of portraits that were waiting to get picked up. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/51813683-ba64-4bbd-85a3-474f56b19090/StationeryFest5.jpg Figgsies Past Work - Live Pet Portraits @ Stationery Fest The backs of the pet portraits. These are photocard sized cards so that they could be kept in the back of a phone or wallet! It also meant that if they wanted to carry them as a keychain or hang them up, there were plenty of options online for them to purchase. I painted 2 stationery themed illustrations for the back, and added the name of the festival and the dates it took place. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/7891ada8-cefb-432b-bf2e-d61b9de2a2be/IMG_1919.PNG Figgsies Past Work - Live Pet Portraits @ Stationery Fest I wasn't able to get a picture of every single portrait, but luckily, if the guest was planning to pick up at the end of the day, I had a picture to text them back when it was done! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6658db904198c07673b6999b/ead39c8e-3c75-4bb6-a2ac-c1f9aa0039a4/IMG_1920.PNG Figgsies Past Work - Live Pet Portraits @ Stationery Fest You might notice a few duplicates.
